1. Assumption of risk+

Participation in circus arts, gymnastics, tumbling and related physical activities involves inherent risks that may result in injury. Activities may include tumbling, gymnastics apparatus, aerial silks and equipment, conditioning, flexibility, trampoline, acrobatics, strength and coordination exercises.

By registering, the parent or guardian voluntarily assumes the risks associated with participation and confirms that the participant is physically able to participate safely.

2. Release of liability+

The parent or guardian agrees to release, waive and hold harmless Prestige Circus & Gymnastics School Inc., its owners, directors, employees, contractors and coaches from liability for injuries, accidents, losses or damages that may occur during classes, camps, workshops, private lessons, events or while on the premises.

3. Medical authorization+

In an injury or medical emergency, the parent or guardian authorizes Prestige staff to obtain medical assistance when necessary.

Any medical expenses incurred are the responsibility of the parent or guardian.

4. Annual membership+

A $50 annual non-refundable membership fee, plus applicable HST, applies to registrations.

Membership is valid from July 1 through June 30 and is non-transferable and non-refundable.

5. Payment policies+

Accepted payment methods include debit, Visa, Mastercard, cash, cheque and e-transfer. Cheques are payable to Prestige Gymnastics School Inc.

  • Online credit-card payments include a 2.5% administration fee.
  • NSF cheques are subject to a $50 service charge.
  • Program fees are subject to HST unless an eligible cash promotion applies.
  • Full payment is due by the registration deadline unless arranged with the office.
6. No-refund policy+

All registrations are final. Once registered, no refunds are issued for Fall, Winter, Spring or Summer sessions; regular classes; PA Day, March Break or Summer camps; or intensive training camps.

Missed classes due to vacations, scheduling conflicts or withdrawal are not eligible for refunds.

7. Camp late pickup+

March Break and Summer Camp finish promptly at 4:00 p.m. Late pickup after 4:05 p.m. is subject to a $25 fee for each 15-minute period, per occurrence.

8. Approved refund exceptions+

Refunds may be considered only at the sole discretion of Prestige Circus & Gymnastics School.

When a refund is approved, a $50 non-refundable administration fee applies. The membership fee remains non-refundable.

9. Medical withdrawal+

If a participant must stop training because of a medical condition that occurs during training at our facility, a program credit valid for 12 months may be issued.

An original doctor’s note stating that the participant cannot take part in circus or gymnastics activities is required.

10. Make-up classes+

As a courtesy, we will try to offer up to two make-up classes per Fall, Winter or Spring session. Make-up classes must be scheduled through the office, are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.

Make-up classes do not apply to PA Day, March Break, Summer or intensive camps. No make-up classes are offered for inclement-weather closures.

11. Class or camp changes+

Any class change or camp-week change is subject to a $50 administration fee.

12. Low enrolment+

Prestige may cancel a class because of low enrolment or recommend an alternate training time. When a class is cancelled, participants will be offered an alternate class or program credit.

13. Facility closures+

If the facility closes due to circumstances beyond our control, including public-health orders, outbreaks or government mandates, missed classes will be compensated through make-up classes or program credit. No refunds will be issued.

14. Tax receipts+

One tax receipt is issued per registration. Additional tax receipts are subject to a $5 administration fee.

15. Chargebacks and payment disputes+

By registering, the parent or guardian confirms that program fees are valid and authorized charges. Payment disputes or chargebacks are not permitted for services that have been reserved or delivered.

Following a chargeback, the account may be suspended and outstanding balances and related fees may be forwarded to collections.

16. Agreement to policies+

By registering, the parent or guardian confirms that they have read and understood these policies, agree to comply with all terms, and accept the liability waiver and payment policies. This agreement applies to current and future registrations unless updated by the school.
